Fotobabble

Assignment Title:  Fotobabble

Uses in the Classroom:  I could see using this in the classroom to wrap up major projects in the classroom. I would have the students post a picture of their project and then summarize the intent of the project and explain how what they've created meets the intent of the project.  This process would help the student develop a deeper understanding of how to solve problems.  Their personal analysis would really make them think, rather than just submitting an assignment and waiting for the teacher to give you a grade.
For homework every student would be required to compare there fotobabble to another student.  From this comparison that would provide an analysis of the other students work and explain if they agree with the students thoughts on the project submission.

Issues to Consider:  The primary issue to think about with using this type of activity would be how to adapt it to students, who for what ever the case may be are not allowed to use computers.  We often take for granted the use of technology in our daily lives.  But we may very well have a student in our classroom who base on their belief system (or the belief system of the parents) are not allowed to use computers.
